Your Island Hopping Guide in Boracay

Boracay is every traveler dream destination with its white sand beaches, aquamarine waters, majestic panoramic view, and a lively nightlife. Boracay offers exciting and thrilling activities that'll surely pump up your blood with adrenaline. One of the activities that you can enjoy at this white beach paradise is island hopping. First time in Boracay? Here are some things that you need to know if you want to go on an island hopping:Island Hopping Rates
Island hopping costs about Php600--Php2,000 depending if you're a small or large group and if you want lunch included in the trip. If your group wants to travel with other tourists but doesn't want to pay for the food, the rate is Php600 per person; but if you want the food included, the rate is Php800 per person.
A boat has a maximum of 25 passengers. If your group doesn't want to share the boat with other travelers, you're going to pay Php1,000 each. If you have a good bargaining skills, you may get better rates to enjoy your island hopping trip.
First Stop: Crocodile Island
Unlike any other islands' random silhouette, this island in Boracay looks like a crocodile, as its name suggests. Crocodile Island is 10-15 minutes away from the port. However, the trip will only provide you a good view of the island from afar. As part of the itinerary, you will be given 30 minutes to snorkel and meet the fishes underwater. Your guide will give you a piece of bread, but don't eat it! (It's intended for the fishes.) Feeding the fishes underwater is an absolute fun that you shouldn't miss!
You have to prepare Php20 for the environmental fee and you will be provided with snorkeling goggles with breathing tube. The snorkeling gears are only improvised so it's advisable to bring your own.
Second Stop: Crystal Cove
The second destination of the trip is Crystal Cove. Crystal Cove is a private-owned 2.5 hectare island but tourists are allowed to roam around with Php200 entrance fee per person. You will be given one hour to explore the island and get picture-perfect shots pf the vast ocean and the island's neighboring islands. Just prepare your legs to trek around -- the path around the island is narrow and steep.
Have fun feeding the fishes and snorkeling inside the coves! You could also try feeding the pigeons and take a picture with them.
Third Stop: Piknikan Island
After visiting the Crocodile Island and Crystal Cove, your guide will take you to Piknikan Island where you'll get to have delectable lunch with other travelers. You'll surely won't get enough of the freshly-caught fish, shrimps, and crabs with fruits and veggies on the side -- a truly tropical island treat!Fourth Stop: Puka Beach
About 15-20 mintues from Piknikan Island, you'll reach Boracay's one of the famous beaches -- Puka Beach. If you want some quiet time far from the crowd, this beach is a great destination for you. Puka Beach is the last stop of every island hopping tour. Don't go too far from the shore if you're not a good swimmer; the water gets deep fast and the current is strong.
Explore the beach's sandbar and be amazed with corals, pebbles and shells having colorful and intricate designs. There are vendors selling bracelets and souvenirs made from puka shells.
