What Kind of Traveler are You?

For every chance you get, you travel and wander around. But have you ever wondered what kind of traveler are you? We have listed eight types of travelers to help you answer that question. Let us know which one clearly defines you:

1. Travel now, pay later

You consider yourself lucky to have friends who can initially pay for your travel expenses such as airfare and accommodation. You always promise to pay them back before or on the day of your travel; but in reality you don’t even know when you’d return the favor. Installment is your usual mode of payment.

2. The more we are, less “gastos”

You’re afraid of traveling solo not because you hate being alone, but you’re scared of the soaring-high expenses you have to shoulder on your own. So when you want to travel, you always make sure to gather your travel squad. You sometimes volunteer as your group’s ‘treasurer’ to make sure everyone pays on time and to also keep in check your travel expense.

3. More thrill, more fun

You think boat-rowing at Burnham Park and participating in city tours are boring. You enjoy taking part in extreme sports and other activities involving physical risk such as sky diving, mountain climbing, water rafting, surfing, canyoneering, scuba diving, and many more. You have the curiosity of what it feels to do extreme activities and find it to be more fun.

4. Travel is life

You practically live everywhere as you can’t stand staying at home. You’re the kind of person who loves seeing new places, experiencing new things, and meeting new people along the way. Traveling is your way of relaxation and is a part of who you are. You regularly change your profile picture on your social accounts with your latest travel photo. Sometimes, you consider creating a blog to share your travel stories.

5. Dora or Diego the explorer

You’re a backpacker who travels to a place that others don’t know much about in order to find out what is there. You cannot travel without a map on hand and if you get lost, you’re not afraid to ask directions. You enjoy long walks while singing or humming a tune. You’re also a practical traveler as you don’t care to wear the same set of clothes twice or thrice just to travel light.

6. From selfies, to groupies

You have great interest in traveling with strangers. You go to places by yourself and always end up having new friends. You regularly receive friend requests on your social accounts from travel companions you met from your latest trip. You’re a flexible wanderer as you have no difficulty traveling solo or with a group.

7. I came, I saw, I collect

Your fridge is the epitome of your travel escapades as it is entirely covered with ref magnets you bought from your travels. You’re a sentimental traveler who always makes sure to bring home something that will remind you of your trip. Visiting souvenir shops is always a must-do to hunt for some collectibles.

8. The commentator

You always leave a review on travel sites about the hotel you recently stayed at or resto you last dined in. Sometimes (if not most of the time), you’re the type of traveler that managers are wary about as you seem to have problems with everything. You’re very meticulous to the point that your friends think you have a serious case of OCD. Others usually ask for your opinion about a destination you’ve previously traveled for their reference.
